Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)

A decade after the events of The Phantom Menace, the galaxy teeters on the brink of civil war. Former Jedi Count Dooku leads the separatist movement, threatening to fracture the Republic. Senator Padmé Amidala, now a prominent leader, becomes the target of an assassination attempt. Obi-Wan Kenobi and his now-grown apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, are assigned to protect her. While Obi-Wan investigates the plot, discovering the creation of a secret clone army for the Republic, Anakin escorts Padmé to Naboo, where their forbidden romance blossoms. Obi-Wan’s search leads him to the planet Geonosis, where he uncovers Dooku's alliance with the Sith and the formation of a droid army. As tensions escalate, the Jedi and the newly deployed clone troopers engage in battle, marking the beginning of the Clone Wars.
